A gem so precious;
Hidden 'neath mound
Of powder snow-
Rarely found,
for, angels themselves
Are far too impure
To lay eye on her heart,
Though they kiss heaven's shore.
A stone, so noble
That even the wise
Bow at her throne
When'er her name sighed.
And yet, I, less worthy
Of the lowest vicinity,
Dance, unharmed
In her eternal divinity.
